RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces + MSMWHS217 Gas Test Atmospheres
RIIWHS202E Enter and work in confined spaces + MSMWHS217 Gas test atmospheres is critical for working in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces which can be dangerous such as tanks, ducts, flues or containers.
The Confined Space component
This Confined Space training course covers WHS policies and procedures, entering and working in confined spaces, local risk management and operating breathing apparatus in resources and infrastructure industries. If you need to work safely in enclosed or partially enclosed spaces held at atmospheric pressure this Confined Space training course will give you the skills you need. This course meets the requirements of State/Territory WHS Regulators and Australian Standard AS 2865-2009.
Course outline:
• Plan and prepare for entering and working in confined spaces
• Enter and work in the confined space
• Exit confined space
• Clean up
• Identify hazards
• Assess risk and identify unacceptable risk
• Identify, assess and implement risk treatments
• Complete records and reports
• Conclude operations
The Gas Test Atmospheres component
